It has been ten years or so since the majority of men, over half the world’s population, were killed off by a virus known as Hepatitis X. Our governments have fought and fell, leaving behind devastation and confusion while new leaders and tyrants have risen up to replace the old ones. For those men who survived the disease life is no longer easy. Roughly one out of every one hundred men can still produce healthy children, male and females alike. They are now the world's most sought after commodity.

Women now rule where men once faltered. In some parts of the world this has not been a bad thing but in others it has served to create only devastation and war. For the most part men are no longer free. They are desperate. They are hunted. They are slaves. The few that are free must live their lives in the shadows.

These are the stories of our world, the good and bad times, from the beginning, through the present and hopefully into the future. Some of what is found here is good and some of what you read is bad, but they are all a part of the world we now live in.

We are trying to save humanity. The 8^th Day and 8^th Day Press hope that by bringing these stories to you we can affect change in our declining world. The answer is not in violence. It can only be found in unity. The women of our world need to see past their own selfish needs and join together in helping to save mankind by defending and helping the men of our world.
